Sited on a corner lot, this beautiful Mediterranean-styled home had a detached garage with a long concrete driveway, occupying almost all the rear yard. By demolishing the garage and attaching a new garage to the front of the home, ample room was available for a new yard design. What was once an underutilized area, became a lushly planted courtyard with wide terraces, a new pool, fountain, spa. Surrounded by towering palms, the angled pool forms the centerpiece of this oasis. At the interior of the home, all of the spaces were gutted and completely remodeled. An existing master bath over the entry was removed, creating a two-story foyer, and a new master bath was designed over the garage addition at the front of the home.
